Rug wool in 100g balls
Pure wool for rug making from the Romney sheep popular for the hard wearing properties of the fleece and used in commercial carpet making worldwide.
This wool in 79 colours is available in quantities of 100g approximately 50 metres long and is exclusive to us, it was previously sold as Iriss rug wool. Orders of more than one of any colour may be delivered as balls greater than 100g, the maximum weight for balls is 400g.
This wool is recommended for punch needle rugs using the regular punch needle and rug tufting guns.
It is an ideal wool for knitting and crochet using an 8mm or 10mm needle or hook and makes a very attractive stitched fabric when used on our rug canvas and made into bags or cushions.
We can supply the wool on cone for tufting guns and weaving, please contact us for availability and quantity, the maximum weight on a cone is approximately 3kg.
